Since 1889, Gladstone Hotel has been a pillar of the West Queen West community offering a space that promotes creativity and collaboration while fostering inclusivity. Over the past several years, the Gladstone Hotel has evolved in many ways but has continued to be recognized and valued as a very social and interactive gathering place, most recently being featured in Michelins’ Toronto Hotel Guide.
The History
Since 1889, Gladstone House has been a pillar of the West Queen West community.
West Queen West was named by Vogue as one of the coolest streets in the world, and Gladstone House has been a staple to the neighbourhood since 1889. As Toronto’s longest continuously operating hotel and following an extensive renovation, Gladstone House is thrilled to reopen its doors in the heart of Toronto’s West end. This landmark property features traditional hardwood floors, restored exposed brick walls and locally curated art throughout the building. In contrast, unique and innovative lighting applications which transition throughout the day, add a touch of modern flare and bring the building to life. Celebrate your wedding, connect at a business meeting, imagine an art-inspired getaway or simply join us for a night of entertainment – Gladstone House is ready to welcome you!
